Home What we do Develop people For leaders & supervisors

The best supervisors maximize the potential of those they supervise. Additionally, research from Gallup reports “a staggering 70% of the variation between great workplace engagement and lousy workplace engagement can be explained just by the quality of the manager or team leader” (Clifton, “It’s the Manager,” 2019).

If you supervise one or hundreds of employees, CLOC can help you hone your skills to bring out the best in your group.

“Excellence Excellence in Supervision Program

To advance fearlessly forward, the University is investing in the growth and development of its supervisors to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to create positive work experiences and environments as well as foster growth, success, care, and inclusive excellence.

Excellence in Supervision (EIS) is recommended for all supervisors. Whether you supervise students, faculty, or staff, this program is for you! It is required for those newly taking on supervisory responsibilities.
